Vincenzo Claudio Piscopo
Born in 1997 in Palermo, Italy. I'm an Aerospace Engineer who loves aviation, technology and learning new things every day.
Education
In 2019 I graduated in Mechanical Engineering with an Aeronautical Curriculum at the University of Palermo. I focused my thesis on Human Factor in aircraft maintenance. Later, again in Palermo, I completed my studies with a MSc in Aerospace Engineering in 2022 with a thesis on the Build-up of an Airworthiness Database with comparison capabilities.
Current activities
I am the Social Media Manager for the Palermo Aerospace Engineering course since 2020. I combine my journalistic activities for AirlineGeeks and Simple Flying with my work as a RAMS Engineer for Zetalab.
Previous work
I have been a Senior Writer for AeroNewsX (now AviationSource) from 2019 to 2021 and was briefly part of the Close-up Engineering team.I also managed AirlineGeeks' social media from April 2023 to April 2024.In 2021, I was an external participant for FutPrInt50, an EU-funded collaborative research project to identify and develop technologies to aid the entry into service of a hybrid-electric commercial aircraft in a class of up to 50 seats by 2035/40.
